Lon Strickler is a paranormal / spiritual researcher who writes and mentors on a variety of supernatural & esoteric subjects. He is the Case Manager/VP, as well as a remote viewer and intuitive, at Spirit Rescue International and works directly with founder, respected psychic and spirit rescuer Irene Allen-Block, who hand-picked him as her protege. Most of his early field work concentrated on spiritual activity at historical locations in Maryland and Pennsylvania, in particular locations where traumatic events have occurred.
In 1981, Lon experienced a "Bigfoot" encounter near Sykesville, MD while fishing on the south branch of the Patapsco River. As a result of the incident, he included cryptid studies as an important part of his research. Lon started the Phantoms and Monsters blog in 2005, which has steadily grown in popularity and read daily by thousands of paranormal enthusiasts, investigators and those seeking the truth! In 2010, Lon became part of the 'Beyond The Edge Radio' family and currently co-hosts the weekly live broadcast.
