Byron Belitsos is an author, journalist, and publisher. He is the founder and CEO of Origin Press, an award-winning book publishing company and co-founder of Shift Books, a division of The Shift Network. Byron has been a student of _The Urantia Book_ for 37 years, and has written and spoken widely on its teachings as well as on the supplemental teachings known as "The Celestial Teaching Mission."
He has a B.A. in intellectual history from the University of Chicago. His graduate studies have embraced history, literature, poetry, philosophy, and religious studies and were conducted at Naropa Institute, at the University of California, and the California Institute of Integral Studies. Byron has co-authored and published three books about The Urantia Book_:_ _The Center Within: Lessons from the Heart of the Urantia Revelation_ (1998); _The Secret Revelation: Unveiling the Mystery of the Book of Revelation_; and most recently _The Adventure of Being Human: Lessons on Soulful Living from the Heart of the Urantia Revelation _(2012).** **He was also co-author of _A Return To Healing _(2009), a Nautilus Gold Prize winner, and _One World Democracy _(2005)**. **Belitsos was an inaugural member of Ken Wilber's Integral Institute.
